About Me
Hello, my name is Karen Moreno. I was born in Mexico Michoacan in a town called Puruandiro. When I was only two years old my parents decided to immigrate to the United States. Since then, I have been living in Lindsay, California all of my life.
There is three things that are very important to me. They are my family, my education, and Art. I see these things with a lot of respect as they are the most valuable treasures life has given me.
I've always been a very dedicated student. Education is something that I really value. One of the reasons why it is some important to me is because I am conscious of my parents hard work and the sacrifices they have had to make to give me the life I have. I know education can open a lot of doors for me and give me the ability to give back to my parents in the future. In the future, I will continue pursuing education to show my parents that all there hard work was not in vain.

Something that I am really passionate about is Art. During my childhood, I would always be the little girl that would be off to the side in her own world, drawing. Today, I still love everything that has to do with art. Someday in the future, I hope to paint a mural somewhere or to open my own gallery.

I have a very big family. So, they have played a very important role in my life. As the oldest of six children, I want to be a role model for my siblings and go on to college. |
